1/16/2011 - Edison 61, North Brunswick 31
The 7th grade boys came out of the
holiday season with a 3 – 1 record and increased that to 4 -1 with a
big win over North Brunswick 61 – 31 and are currently in second
place in Central Jersey. Leading the way for Edison were Zach
Marzano 12 points, Jayson Graham 10, Elijah Mitchell and John
Zanfordino both with 9 followed by Jonathon Stevens 8 and Gio Johnson
with 5 as all 12 players got into the scoring column. The boys
play 1st place Roselle this Tuesday for sole possession of
first in the Central Jersey league. Then on Saturday, the boys
again play Marlboro who gave them their only CJ league loss back in
the first week of December.
1/18/2011 – Edison 37, Roselle 26
The 7th grade boys with a 5 – 1 record
took over sole possession of first place by defeating previously
undefeated Roselle 37 – 26 led by Jayson Grahman with 18 points,
Zach Marzano, Jonathon Stevens and John Zanfordino 4 a piece
followed by Alex Corrigan with 3. The team was led by the court
generalship of Brandon Radd and the rebounding of Graham, Marzano and
Zanfordino.
