On April 28, the Edison 8th Grade Travel Basketball Team
was recognized by the Edison Town Council
and Mayor's Office for their outstanding season at the Town Council Meeting.
A resolution was prepared in their honor, and they received Awards of
recognition
for the following successes:
Central Jersey Basketball League Champions
North Brunswick Basketball Association Champions
Middlesex County Tournament Champions
March Madness Tournament Champions

The Edison 8th Grade Travel Basketball Team finished off an
incredible year with a victory over Perth Amboy to win
the 2010 March Madness Tournament for 8th Graders. They have now won
every League and Tournament they have entered for the last 2
seasons.
Their list of accomplishments this season;
2010 Central Jersey Basketball League Blue Division Champions
2010 North Brunswick Basketball Association Blue Division Champions
2010 County Tournament Champions
2010 March Madness Tournament Champions
They have worked together as a team, came a long way
from their opening game loss, and have represented
Edison extremely well.

Attention all travel players!!!
If you are interested in improving your game and playing the best
competition around, then come try-out for the Edison travel program.
All games are played on Saturday afternoon. Home games are played in
one of the Edison Middle Schools and away games in the Central Jersey
League are all within 20 minutes of Edison.
